The red tailed hawk soaring over its territory is a normal sight just about everywhere in the US. This design is the mate to the Wings of Eagles design and they may be purchased as a set in their own listing.
As with all my art tiles, we use many different underglazes and glazes to get the look I want. Each tile is hand crafted in small batches and are made to look as much like the one pictured as possible. There is a cavity cut into the back of each tile for easy hanging and the tiles easily hang on just about any screw, nail (or even sturdy straight pins).
We do not recommend any of our art tiles to be installed outside. They can be hung on a nail outdoors and last for many years (ours still look good, even without sealing them,) but please don't install them. They are safe for inside use, including fireplaces, backsplashes and shower installations.
The sculpted and handcrafted nature of these designs insures you are getting a unique piece of art.
Although images are a close representation of the actual artwork, there will be minor differences. All my tiles are handmade in very small batches. The very nature of handcrafted ceramics guarantees that you are purchasing a unique work of art.
