Snowdrop Vase (Traditional)
Pewabic Snowdrop Vase (Traditional)The Snowdrop Vase was first created in 1903 by Mary Stratton, and was intended as a base for a lamp. Delicately carved snowdrop flowers surround the vase, glazed in flowing matte green. Resculpted by Pewabic artisan Sherlyn Hunter, this historic reproduction mimics the original in every way. The original Snowdrop Vase returned home to Pewabic when it was won in an auction bidding in February of 2006. It was purchased from an antiques dealer in Montgomery, Alabama, who had found it in a barn at an estate sale. She is delighted that the original is on display in our Museum Collection today.
This vase measures 6"H x 4"W.
